Upgrading electronics through your computer may seem daunting, but the simplicity of the update process surprised me. It is a straightforward procedure with on-screen prompts and it only takes a few minutes of your time. And with the updates from GarrettI know I always have the latest in detecting technology in my Apex. In the field, we noticed a marked improvement in EMI resistance at one of our favourite spots, particularly when operating Multi-Frequency. The software update process is a great feature of the Apex. Ripper!

I did the upgrade and it was so simple. Afterwards there was most certainly a notable difference with its sensitivity to my Canadian coinage. There was also an added depth. I kept moving the coil over a coin while raising it. I was surprised at how high the coil could be lifted above the coin before the audio quit.
