Robert got a call from a lady who lost her ring snowball fighting at Santa’s Wonderland. He brought his ACE 300 and drove 2 hours to help her recover it. He writes, “About 30 minutes into searching for it, my machine went beep, beep, BAM! There it was, buried a foot deep in the snow. That smile made everything worthwhile. Huge thanks to Garrett Metal Detectors for helping turn stressful moments into happy endings.”

Opa found a once-in-a-lifetime find on his third day using the Vortex! On his first few swings, he was getting a VDI of 53 repeatedly, so he decided to dig one up. He thought it would be a pull tab, but it turned out to be a gold coin about 10 inches in the ground, which made his heart skip a beat in shock. He wrote, “ It turned out to be a rare 1555–1567 Saint Oswald Ducat, a Dutch gold guilder from Count William IV. The only other known example sits in a castle museum… and the second was found far from that castle, right in my hometown. A little dance, a lot of history, and a day I’ll never forget. Thank you, Garrett Metal Detectors, for building detectors that truly bring the past back to life.”

With the sun cutting through the trees and detecting with the Apex deep into the woods, Nadine was looking for his first find of the day. After a long period of insignificant signals, the Apex got a clear tone that she could not pass up. She found a 4.74g gold ring! She writes, “Moments like this remind us of why we metal detect. The thrill of the signal, the smile when it’s revealed, and the stories waiting beneath the soil. Huge thanks to Garrett for building the tools that turn those moments into memories.”
